Sony’s new flagship- Xperia XZ3 has just been unveiled
at the 2018 IFA in Berlin. The device is packed with mouth watering specs like
an OLED display and also an added screen technology to compete with other big
boys like the Samsung galaxy S9+ Iphone X etc. lets take a look at some areas
where the XZ3 excels.
The Xperia XZ3 has a borderless, curved and seamless design, carefully crafted to sit comfortably in your hand. Although the XZ3 looks much like the XZ2 on the back with similar curved back panel and fingerprint placement. But the screen on the XZ3 set itself apart with a stunning 6 inch 18:9 OLED, QHD+ HDR display equipped with Sony’s TRILUMINOS and X-Reality display for mobile. The XZ3 is also built with the same materials found on the XZ2, the same Gorilla glass 5 is found on the front and back of the device with an aluminum frame.
Camera
& Performance:
The XZ3 features the same camera setup found on the
XZ2, It consist of a 19 MP, f/2.0, 25mm, 1/2.3", 1.22µm Motion Eye camera with
PDAF, laser AF, as well as a stacked memory solution, powering 960fps, 1080p
slow-motion capture and real-time 4K HDR recording. Sony decided to upgrade the
selfie camera to a 13mp, f/1.9, with autofocus (similar to the one found on the
XZ1) instead of the 5mp sensor on the XZ2.
When it comes to performance, the XZ3 is powered by the same snapdragon 845 chipset found in the XZ2 coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, expandable via microSD up to 512GB. The battery on the XZ3 is now 3300mAh with a USB power delivery support and Qnovo tech. According to Sony, the XZ3 is built to last a full day combining an intelligence optimization.
A new feature on the XZ3 is Side Sense. it detects taps
on either sides of the curved display and immediately shows your favorite apps and
it also predicts and displays the apps you want to use next. The Xperia XZ3
