Over the years we’ve heard stories about Samsung working
on a foldable smartphone, what Samsung didn’t make clear was the release date
for the much anticipated device. The tech company has acknowledge that it is
working on a foldable device, and it won’t be a gimmick this time. The speculation
about the foldable smatphone release has been put to rest by Samsung’s mobile division
CEO-Dj Koh.
Dj Koh has confirmed the release of a foldable device later
this year, after a consumer survey revealed that there is a market for this
form factor. He said it is time for Samsung to deliver on a foldable smartphone.
According to Koh Samsung is much likely to be the first
manufacturer in the world to release a proper foldable smartphone. Although a
release date has not been confirmed yet, but Koh said the device may be
unveiled at samsung’s Developers Conference taking place in San Francisco, California,
November 7-8 2018.
