HMD Global just made the Nokia X7 official in china.
Focusing on its expansion of Nokia branded phones; HMD is committed to revive
the brand name under its wing. The Nokia X7 looks and feels like a high-end
flagship device with near-flagship specs, capabilities and a mouth watering
price.
The Nokia X7 has a 6.2 inch 1080p LCD screen with
pureview technology and features a real time SDR to HDR video conversion as
seen on the Nokia 7.1. The device is built out of series 6000 Anodized aluminum
and a glass back.
The X7 will run Android 8.1 OREO out of the box but
will receive Android 9.0 (pie) update and android One security updates in the future. It
is powered by the new QUALCOMM SNAPDRAGON 710 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB
of storage or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of on board storage. A 3,500mAh battery is
on board and supports 18W wired fast charging.
There is a finger print sensor and a dual camera set up
on the back of the device, a 12MP main camera and a 13MP depth sensor. The selfie
camera is a whooping 20MP that supports AI bokeh effects and AI recognition for
18 scenes.
The Nokia X7 will cost around ¥1,699 in china ($246)
and is expected to launch outside the Chinese market as the Nokia 7.1 plus.
